I like how the recollections advance the thought process. Very vivid, and relatable detail to bring the reader fully into the scenes created. Kind of wistful, but realistic. I like how you've tied this to a concrete moment at the beginning, tasting soup, it grounds the situation in an everyday moment and then proceeds to the further reaches. Excellent work.

Honestly, I am not sure if i am interpreting this right(Even though I like it a lot). When I read this(multiple times), I like to think of friendship. AND CARING. Whose this about anyway lazy? Damn, I don't make any sense

This is one of the most original things I've ever read. You have an interesting perspective on things, and your writing style is excellent at keeping the reader's attention. I like the way you put several emotions into a relatively short piece.
