the images this poem created in my mind were pretty scary. but I liked the whole "let's _" idea though. and the way the words sounded were sarcastic but not in a biting sense. which is an irony (sort of) but it worked well here. (:

Look. People cut themselves. Woo-hoo. At least some people can write about it well. Seriously, that's not poetry, it's prose. I can't believe I wasted part of my life for that. Get a job!

Wow. My best friend cuts herself, and after reading this I wonder if she does/has ever done something(s) like that.
