This is a really good story! The description is vivid and chilling, it really makes me go through what these kids are experiencing. I know you're writing this for NaNoWriMo and are probably trying to get your word count as high as possible, but I feel that this chapter got a bit repetitive. The first one is fine, but the next three are practically the same and very predictable. I do like the little sentances in between telling of the world's reactions to these comas, and I particularly like the fifth one as it has a lot more variety and detail. Keep it up! I'd love to see the rest of your novel posted here!
