This was rather confusing because I don't know what the X is supposed to symbolize. Could it be a lover scorned? A place on someones face that was shown so much attention in the past and now is so devoid of it as to not remember the gorgeous act of kissing? hm . . . I do like that you could keep the rhyming in this simple and straight forward. maybe I'm reading too much into my own thoughts at this point and need to take a step back and read it again . . . okay got the kissing or lack there of bit down. It's gotta be about the haunting of feelings from the past and that seem to show up when we don't (do) want them to. good good, hellbentheretic |
