So now I have to be patient and wait, and I'm not patient whatsoever, but because this story is amazing, I will try. Darien doesn't get that Brock wasn't the only hurt-having to move against your will, away from someone you love hurts just as bad. Anyways, Post More Soon!
jaspyre 2008-05-09 ch 35, anon.	abuseThat was wonderful. The only thing I could maybe suggest is changing her martial art to something like taekwondo or kung fu if you’re partial to the exotic. It’s just that aikido can’t really be performed without an uke and is purely defensive, no aggression. And definitely no flips. Apart from that I find Emma delightfully dark, intriguing and intelligent. Definitely one of the best romance heroines I’ve encountered both on the net and in paper. Darien is damn sexy and surprisingly human even with all that money and good looks. My other favourite character is Darien’s mother but if I was going to be critical I’d say that many of the support characters are a bit bland, but that’s totally forgivable when your main couple have such phenomenal dynamic. Their dialogue is brilliant, lots of fun to read and sharply witty. Just get your beta reader to pay a bit more attention to the occasional little errors, although I can totally empathise with her getting caught up in the story.

Haha 2008-05-06 ch 1, anon.	abuseyour introduction (author's page) was so stupid, with its limping, awkward attempt at wit and/or wisdom, BUT because i was foolish, i decided to give your story THE MATCHMAKER a chance. i stumbled through the first and second chapters, but i really can't continue. it's pathetic. not the writing style or anything like that--it's far from brilliant, but acceptable by fictionpress standards i suppose. no, i mean the content. you need to read a whole lot more. the lack of emotional depth, lack of interesting characters... hahahahaa. don't delude yourself. recognize that you suck, and delete this story. and try to improve.
