So another layer of Belle's personality is revealed to us this chapter. Obviously been burned by some jerk, the resident womanizer at school perhaps? I'm just speculating here.
I wish my niece was as sweet as that; she's a lot more boisterous and won't stop fidgeting for even a second...

There were a couple of errors in this chapter.

'I smile grew wider as I hoped out of my truck and locked the doors.' I think you meant my smile grew wider.

'Both the guys growled under their breathes and got up off the floor.' Breaths not breathes.

When Belle's sister says, '“You use to love that story.” ' and then when Belle says, '“Use to. Not anymore..."' It's the past tense, so it's used to.

Wonder what will happen next, I'm still holding out for a spar in her class filled with innuendos...

I remember doing Romeo and Juliet, I always thought Romeo was a bit of an overdramtic cad...

I haven't read your other story, but 17 years later? That's impressive. Belle seems like a complex charachter I'd like to see how she grows and develops.
Shall I be preapred for endless rounds of verbal clashes oozing with sexual tension...lol.
