The feel and the language here is gorgeous. My favorite part is:

There is something else beyond the chill, in the grass beneath her feet, in the glittering lights that whiz by, blurs and blurs of clotted dreams: a green disappointment, indigo defeat.

I like how this is both mysteriously vague, and scene specific all at the same time. Kind of surreal in a way. The use of setting and atmosphere is excellent. Well written. Hope all is well with you, and have a happy new year. MD:77.
