I understand this poem for a side view. I know what it's like to be the not quite as cute one. Fortunately I'm blessed with lots of girls who are friends and one that could be more...someday. Your describe the torment very well. My friends of the feminine type have often talked to me about this. But, you know what: you're not that big or huge or pimply. And yes, there's often that semi-cute, romantic guy waiting to sweep you off your feet. Very well written.
