"all the while wishing we were younger/and maybe wiser/wishing we just couldn't feel at all" is something with which I can easily identify, and it's nice to see it written into a good poem. It has this really cagey feel- not raw, but real, even with with the the imagery, which has the feel of slightly dark, uncomfortable dreams.
