hHey i really liked this poem! Tought it was very thoughtful and true. I could really connect to it. So couild almost everyone else because i beleive everyone has at one point or another turned away from God.

Nice. I agree with you for I also am a Christian. My stories are not necessary religious but my song lyrics are for sure. *goes off to read your other works*

'We' being who? You? Your family/friends? A general group of people? Certainly not humanity. Not all of humanity feels empty for lack of a god. Not all of humanity needs a god. I certainly don't.

In response to your author's note: This certainly is poetry. I don't agree with it, but it's well written, and relays your feelings well.

I cant say I agree with any of this poem at all, but it is well written despite the subject matter. We aren't empty, well, I'm not at least, and I dont believe in god at all. It's a pretty good poem, but I can say I agree with it is all. No offense I hope. (no I'm not an athiest either)
