You may not be sure, but I loved it. Especially The second stanza, and you kept it from being disjointed as you kept going back to eyes.

Oh wow, that's beautiful. I just love it so much I don't really know what to say about it. I can just feel how the speaker makes hopeful maybe-something-more eye contact. Such innocence and sweetness. This is going on my favorites.

It has a sort of innocence to it, mixed with uncertainty hesitance. I like it a lot, especially with how the words in parentheses and italics give the poem an underlying meaning. It's open for interpretation - but for me it seems like it's about realizing you have feelings for a childhood friend. Or something along that matter. Great work anywho!
