wow, short and sweet. ^^ (hey, like me!) this is the last few minutes i have left on the computer for awhile, so i'll try to read more of yours before i go ^.^

Nice images here about darkness consuming all when faith is lost. Quite a suggestive title for such a short work, but it does work well:)

My favorite is the last stanza especially 'the anger quickens/ the vines ripen.' Again nice suggestiveness here about the vines of history- more to the point a bad turn in history that should never have taken place. The vines ripening reminds me of veins engorged with blood; ready to burst with the consequences of Apocalyse to follow.

Your voice is clear and easy to understand. Precise execution in this medium of poetry we all love is sometimes hard to come by, but you have done well here. Keep churin' them out and I'll keep readin' them.

FROM GUESS WHO
