There are a couple of lines/phrases in here that I really loved, specifically "silver screen suspense" (gotta love some alliteration, plus the image is beautiful) and "like paint chips in a blaze, burned brilliantly from the prime of its day" (that's just gorgeous, all the imagery I get of this insanely bright fire...). Nice work with this one. Keep writing! :)
