Reviews For: Money
helixdown 2008-03-20 . chapter 1
Hm, this ACTUALLY helped me believe it or not, the currency in my stories is something i never thought about, it would really help my story if i changed that up a bit, oh, and good point about the main character having a job, hm, i'm gonna make my mentally ill mass murderer own a yummy ice cream shop! YIPEE!

IIRC, the Irish use/used *writers* for the faces on their money. What would that say about a world, a country, a city?

I am loving this newsletter. And I have one little comment on Sakka Fenikkusu's "Important Things". The Latin word for money is pecunia, where the term 'pecuniary' comes from. Pecunia is derived from the Latin word 'pecus' for cows. Look how the great have fallen. :)

WHAT?! George Clooney is in the episode of Stop the Press, automatically making it the best one EVER. It's not even a lie. Actually, I don't really like him as a person/actor as much as I love his name. It's a great name. Just SAY it. It sounds really smooth. It's all in the name ...

Ha ha ... revolving doors ... *is happy*

*dies* Oh my god ... that conversation between the modern people made me want to die for laughing. You are a funny person, Shane.

Ew. Eragon the movie comes out Friday. I'm not too happy for that. Bad as the book was (I was trying to re-read it and got bored ... many times. I gave up eventually), the movie'll just butcher it more.

I want to be one of the upstanding people who works in marketing when I grow up. It's exciting. Yeah. It'll be fun to trick all the Blubber Heads of the world. *evil laugh* I mean ... ^^

"When it’s stained with blood and offered by suspicious European men in black cars." I want to steal this and treasure it forever. Seriously. It's great. By a lot. *happily hugs quote and rambles to self*

I may have to write for the villians theme. I mean ... come on. How could I pass this month up? It'd be blasphemous! If I spelt it right ...

Anywho, expect word from me sometime. I want to do Decemeber ...

AWESOME NEWSLETTER, EVERYONE!

Solemn Coyote 2006-12-05 . chapter 1
1) "In the words of Solemn, don’t assume anything." There's no better flattery than quotation. Thank you much, Bread.
2)"If all of ACME’s products work like crap, why does wily Coyote keep buying them?" As a fellow Coyote, I can speak up for the poor guy. He's motivated by curiosity. Not the simple curiosity of 'will this work' but rather the more complex curiosity of 'how will this go horribly awry'?
3)"'Whoever said ‘nothing is impossible’ never tried slamming a revolving door.' – Unknown". Nothing is impossible, Heat. You just need two people to slam a revolving door.
4)"If no one buys a ticket to a movie do they still show it?" Alright, Heat. You stumped me. I really don't know the answer to this one. But they might put on a special screening for the theatre-gremlins. Maybe.
5)"Why do you put two cents in if it’s a penny for your thoughts?" There's tax. Obviously.
6)Okay, ending on a happy note. I really enjoyed reading this. And that's not just because I like to see things I wrote in the public spotlight. I can honestly say that I am awaiting the next issue eagerly.

Heatless Flame 2006-12-04 . chapter 1
Yeah, I submitted! This issue was pretty cool, especially the money invalid part at the end. Gotta say, Bread, that all your cases are realistic. *nod* Woot! I am off to see a story, a wonderful story of Oz!
No Trust 2006-12-02 . chapter 1
Y'know what?

I'm not going to touch any of this.
Xerophyte 2006-12-02 . chapter 1
I really like this issue. I love the ending piece (Money Invalid!?!) a lot because of how society veiws money as completely essential to life. In a way, it is. It's weird how our entire being can be controlled by a paper bill...

Is there any age limit for those who would like to submit? From what I understand most of you are college age, and I'm in highschool. I would love to submit if at all possible.

Sakka-Fenikkusu 2006-12-02 . chapter 1
Everyone, nice job! This issue is a lot smaller than the last one, but it's understandable, since we had a lot of NaNoWriMo participants. It was a fun read, because everyone loves money.

Bread, you didn't fix that typo. ^_^
