Unidentified Flying Waffle 2008-01-22 . chapter 1
It is pretty cynical, not the approach to life I enjoy taking personnally, but it was an interesting little read.

I like how you take different aspects of the fairy tale genre one at a time and dissect them. If the cynical result was what you were trying for, it really just pulls them apart one at a time, shredding them one after another (I'm not really sure it expresses what I'm trying to say, but I hope you can get the idea.)

The isolated sentences like "There's no such thing as Prince Charming" and "There's no such thing as a happily ever after" really leave an impact and clearly define the message of the poem.

I believe no one can deny that this an excellently written piece of work. However, the note of bitterness is rather...depressing.

And because I feel this way, I'm even more convinced that you are a very good writer. It takes talent to make people feel emotion merely by reading what you write.

I think it's great.

I agree with you: this feels like many small poems rather than one long one. I think you could do a collection of poems on fairytales if you split this piece up. These stanzas also seem ripe with ideas; I’m sure you could expand each of the “smaller poems” or write others based on what you already have. Keep up the good work!
