Not so sure about the last line and what it signifies other than what it says . . . hmm- could mean a state of peace that happns to us when the earth lies down to sleep for a spell b/f bursting into greenery and lushness when it awakens. I perhaps would have added 'and the winter, so cold.' Bein' out on the plains definitely brings that realization home pretty damn quick! hellbentheretic |
