Reviews For: The Truth About Haley
FoxTail13 2007-07-12 . chapter 1
Yeah, NickyFox13 from Decided to read some of your poems on

This particular poem was incredibly sad, heartbreakingly so. It nearly made me cry, and made me feel bad for 'Haley', even though she may or may not be based on a real person.

As for the rhyming, I think you did well. The rhyme added flair to it. It was cheesy, yes, but well pulled off.

So yeah, good poem!

Thanks for the reviews! I can definitely understand about cheesy rhyming... I've tried writing poems that didn't rhyme, but it seems like they all fall apart on me. I guess more practicing might help. I really liked this piece. The rhyming didn't sound forced or cheesy at all. This is so powerful and heartbreaking and you really did an excellent job making the reader feel the emotion. Great work!

LOVE this poem :)
it's like a story within a story within a poem and with rhyming which makes it even better

one of those poems which make me open my eyes a little wider and see how we judge, discriminate, hate others

fantastic fantastic poem!

(sorry about the late review, i've been taking a long break)

God, this was really good, in a heartbreaking kind of way. But really, great job on it, I loved it. It's sad how true this is so often, though.
