But not in the way you ended it.
But in the way of police finding him.

Pretty fucked up story.
Nothing funny about it though.
More of angst, drama, fuckeduptiness, and tragedy.

I'm speechless. That was pretty flippin' amazing. I was certain David was going to kill himself on the show, but that ending was a pleasant surprise. It was all too fitting for him.

At first I was a little skeptical with the 'show,' especially since Andrew's two little girls were watching it. What parent in their right mind would let their children watch someone commit suicide? [although they stopped after Peter of course] Andrew was that desperate to hold on to David I guess.

While reading this dark tale, I kept thinking of a manga I read when I was definitely too young to be reading it. Tokyo Akazukin is an insanely twisted story, much like this one.

I really enjoyed reading this, and I thought I almost died a little inside when my mom kicked me off the computer about 3 screen scrolls down from the end of this chapter. Great job.

this is so amazingly fucked up that i think i'm in love. i usually don't review till the end if there are a bunch of chapters, but i just had to tell you that this is gorgeously fucked up.

Slightly disturbing... well written though

Absolutely stunning. The perfect blend of horrific cruelty and undeniable insanity. David is a character you're forced to identify with, even though you don't want to. The ending is so well written I could barely comprehend what I was reading in my desperation to get to the end. Excellent job with this piece.

i don't know whether i should be disturbed by this or not, but i definitely know that it was awesome. seriously this was a great idea for a storyline, pulled off to absolute perfection. the writing seemed a bit off in a couple of places but was mainly amazing and the characters were very vivid and messed up. great work :)

I love this. I feel sick and horrible for doing so but I love it. I don't think I've ever felt...whatever this emotion is before. Any story that makes me forget to breathe because I'm so into it is a sure winner for me, and this was one that went above and beyond that.

I can't even imagine a better ending to this twisted tale. It seemed abrupt and confusing and perfect. I seem all over the place with this review I know but...damn.

I loved this story. It was very dark and slightly twisted, and the writing was great. I liked the characters and their personalities, especially David and his interactions with the ghosts. The ending worked perfectly to tie everything together. I really enjoyed this!

Lol, I was just thinking as I finished reading the end - which was brilliant, by the way xD - I had an idea that you could have wrote an extract from the website before 'The End', like - 'Due to unfortunate circumstances, Nayslayre's Carnival is no more.' You know, a bit like a tiny epilogue. xD Anyway, yeah, just thought I'd share my thought with someone, might as well be the author. :P

So, once again, great story! Definitely going on my favourite's.
