Wow, this is sad. It's one of those in the moment poems. I'm not sure how to describe it. I love the phrase "scattershot offspring." Interesting piece. Keep writing! :)

It reminds me of people in the retirement center my grandmother lived at for a long time. Just a very disturbing thought.
