i know people like that. they dont make an effort to really get 2 know me. they dont care enough about me 2 c if i am ok with things in my life. even though i do 4 them. and what do i do? i just smile at them and pretend i am happy. just waiting 4 someone to take the time 2 care. good poem.

OMG! I loved this poem!!
It really spoke to me. I feel like I am 'drowning in my emotions' but am unable to share with people. Every line touched me, somehow speaking my inner emotions. I too have 'built a wall of protection', many people thinking I don't feel, or am always happy. You realise who your friends really are, the ones that take the time to get past that wall.
