Oh my god! Oh my god it is amazing! So sad... so unexpected. I like the use of pause. I love 'the string to my kite'. Some bits remind me a lot of you, for instance when you talk about 'Grey's Anatomy' and when she says 'heck'. There a little things you can do to create a bit more of a gap between the author and the character, but I love the concepts put across in this. You introduce the last paragraph perfectly - "I've always wondered what is beyond life". This is so good!
