Great poem - I've often felt these things before, in love and in other ways. More specifically, there have been recent changes in my life. I want to confide in someone that of my past, for the sake of helping them understand me more - but some of it is really dark, I guess you could say. This makes me afriad I might hurt them, and I would never want to do that.

So ... sorry to go on and on, but that is what this reminds me of. I love this poem so much, mostly because you so clearly say what has been tangled in my heart for so long. Thank you so much for sharing. Keep writing, k.
