This poem was both disturbing and funny at the same time. Naturally, I love it.

I love it! I'm known to people I know as being able to write about anything that comes to mind, but this is something else. I wouldn't be able to make it sound like you do.

Haha! Eye infections are certainly no fun. This especially amused me since I'm going to the eye clinic in a few hours. ;D

I shouldn't be laughing, considering it's so painful and irritating to be going on with (is this conjuctivitis?)...but it's really a great thing for you as a writer to make me forget about that side of it completely. The mentions of "red" and "infectied" all in bolds makes it so phonetically dramatic...you can literally hear the person screaming RED and INFECTED just randomly out of thin air.

I know what you mean by monterous eye goo. I used to get pink eye all the time (or so it felt). You left out the horrors of eye drops, I see. I always felt like my eyes were going to freeze in their sockets.

Anyway, I thought your descriptions of the eye infection were very good. My eyes started watering a bit, actually. Good work, I say.

Pink eye is horrible, but it's always good to write about horrible things. =)

Oh my goodness. I don't care if this was cynical or not. It was so true and hilarious! ... of course your pain from the eye infection is not funny. And having pink eye is not fun at all. Terrific work.
