Ah. That kills me. The last stanza is breathtaking. So much hurt in there. It kills me. "some kind of fallen Aphrodite dying slowly with a smile..." *inhales sharply* Amazing.

Wow, so definitely not what I expected. Poetry on this site just gets better and better, and I am glad to say that I was pleasently surprised by the complexity of this poem. Very good job, and very deep. I am happy to add this to my favorite's list.
