"when you die, your body becomes fertilizer for
beautiful white flowers that will be
crushed underneath the boots of soldiers,"
You really hit a rhythm right there, combined with strong imagery. The first two sentences (from "Everyone is good..." to "...people around you") isn't terrible, but isn't really great.
This is a nice short piece, with a mild opening that is saved by a few good lines at the end. Well done. |
