This is one of my favourite formats to use, couldn't tell you what it's called. I'm untrained, or self-taught, take your pick.
I love the imagery in this, it's classic fantasy, and it made me want to follow where you were leading...

The rhythm/meter seems a little bit off in places, but I LOVE LOVELOVE the poem itself, and the rhyme, and the story, and the rhyme *scheme*...!
