 AluminumMuse 2007-05-14 . chapter 1Unusual. Sort of horrifying, but in a good way (maybe good is the wrong word...) The only thing I would point out is that, through the insistence that the being has no feeling, he or she does show alot of very human emotion throughout the narration. Also, the memories thing, but it does recognize some sort of procedure carried the doctors/scientists/whatevers that work with it. That's a memory, right? Could be brushed up a little with some more thickness; character,experience, etc. I don't feel like I know the narrator as well as I could when a first person narrative is being used.
That said, I quite liked it. |
