| Manic Star 2006-12-28 ch 1, | abuseHoly crap. You write way too good for your age, assuming your profile isn't several years old. I am so JEALOUS. Gah. Yes. Wonderful. |
| Operation Miranda 2006-12-25 ch 1, | abuseOh my god, that's beautiful! It achieves the essence of spirituality without confining itself to one religion. There are a couple grammatical errors, but I fear that if you corrected them it may detract from the flow of the piece. Amazing! |
| xx-cronopio-xx 2006-12-19 ch 1, | abuseI HATE YOU. I really do. WHY CAN SOME PEOPLE WRITE GORGEOUS FREE VERSE ON A RIDICULOUSLY CONSISTENT BASIS while I have to settle for writing a poem every aeon or so because my brain peters out to nothing afterward? Not to mention I can't write free verse with a damn. Anyway. Yes, for the criticism. None to offer, as usual. The Syrian church is quite a nice touch indeed. The "same dewy aged air" imagery was the kind that sends me into ecstasies. In fact, the entire poem was composed of imagery that sent me into ecstasies. My only objections - very small, of course - I suppose would be the "thunderous undertones" part, which seems very conventional as contrasted with the innovativeness and sheer originality of the rest of the poem. But of course that's extremely minor. Adieu, Kat |
| multiples of six 2006-12-18 ch 1, | abuseWow.. ambitious and thought-provoking. It reminds me of this little story thing by Nietzsche about God being dead. Nicely done.. |
| contrast and friction 2006-12-17 ch 1, | abuseFirstly, thank you for the review! I like this. I like how you have divided the poem into two parts - questions & answers. It somehow draws it all together. The images you have used are absolutely beautiful "The flowers in the graveyard below, the smoky hills against the horizon the fabric, the time: do they prove anything, let alone life or death?" It's not awkward poetry at all. It's beautiful and well written poetry exploring such a complex issue. Nicely done. |
