Once again, this is marvelous. No, they didn't move too fast at all. Long drawn out courtship is all very well, (I tend to do far too much of it) but sometimes you just gotta make a move right away. Please please PLEASE post more soon!

It's a good start for a story. The only thing wrong with the first person bit was that it got a little confusing about who was who at a few points. It's a good story, though, and I'd like to read more. :)

That was really sweet first chapter ^^. I wonder if this Zac Nik knows is the same Zac Kyle knew as a kid. I mean it has to be, right? btw, I realised something funny... Nik's name's almost exactly that of this actor, Nicolas Cage's :D. I'm sure it's coincidental.
