| Grey-Mater 2006-12-19 ch 1, | abuseHey, Grey -- for someone who is so derisive of people with addictions, you sure are understanding of the addictive state! You are such a conundrum, uh -- I think. I hope that's the word I thought it was. Addiction is a human condition, is it not -- I mean how many non-humans do you find addicted to anything. So, another black mark on us. Your poem is so descriptive of the hell of addiction that it is scary, so-- what do you have to say for yourself? Hmm... Well, addiction doesn't have to only extend to drugs or tobacco, I suppose an obsessive need for anything can be classified as an addiction --shopping, eating, dangerous hobbies -- whatever. But what I feel when I read your poem is that you're talking about drugs, what it must be like to have your whole existence revolve around the need for that next high. Girl, you are GOD! Um, too good? Awesome is a better word. Love, GM |
