Ah, exactly. Perfectly worded with a tremendous twist of sophistication. Nice style. I think the most ...interesting... (don't like to use that word) to me is "Heartshards stabbing my lungs making it difficult to beathe, there are impossible shades of purple beneath my eyes, blinding me as the razor slips below my skin into the center of my hurt and begins to cut it all away." I hate being able to 'relate' (also don't like that word) but I carry the same weight upon my shoulders. Keep writing.

I don’t know where you’ve gone, Alice, since I was writing on fictionpress. But I miss your writing and presence here. I hope you are well and I hope this old bit of writing doesn’t reflect your current situation. But on to the writing. Like always this is powerful enough to knock the air from my lungs. There is so much emotion captured here and far too many excellent lines for me to list all of my favorites. I loved the desperate repetition of the last line and the repetition in “my shortshort blackblack nails scraping my skin.” Excellent writing. Take care.

I know this is a late review.. but I just read this and I HAD to comment. This feels almost manic and screams of breakdowns.. and that just makes it so intensely beautiful.

You have a gift with alliteration and manipulating words to create such intriguing and unique imagery. I love it.

This one has a very manic feel to it. Like your thoughts are racing too fast for you to keep up with, and you're just caught in the whirlwind trying to hang on. Or maybe trying to let go.

and darling, some days i read and think that we may just be living the same life. maybe the tragedy flows a little different in some parts, but in the end we still are left screaming in traffic jams.

this is panic and thoughts and a breakdown people beg to have. you have a gift my lovely alice. don't ever let it go to waste.

omg, i love ur poems, they are just amazing, although this isn't quite a poem, but not quite a story. GOD everything u write is just amazing, now i'm sounding a bit obsessed
