 The Voluptuous Innocent 2006-12-20 . chapter 1Being from the prairies where the wind is bitterly cold and cruel I can understand at least some parts of this poem. I won't admit to understanding it all because art is subjective. ;-) Anyway, I'll stop my rambling and get on with the review. This poem was haunting. I loved the use of sibilants in the second verse. It was as if I could hear the wind moving through the trees and the wheat/grass of the plains. Especially with line 6. Lovely!
