Your writing is gorgeous and so, so present. It's the sort of thing you savor on cold nights with hot chocolate and read aloud to yourself. It's so -human-.

This is beautiful...you have a brilliant way of capturing emotions and pacing them so that a reader can't help but fall into them and feel pulled along by the mind of the narrator. I found myself trembling by the time I'd reached the end of this, which the ever looming thought that the situation is endless as the title suggests. Wonderful work.
