Reviews For: What's in a Name?
SapphireIris 2006-12-28 . chapter 1
Ah, I've got a "normal" name that's just spelled oddly. Some of this I understand, some I don't, but I sympathize. My sister got the name "Amber Sky." How lovely for me that my mom decides to give the good names out last.

Argh. I feel for you.

Beautiful. I feel the urge to be the one ** who says this: "But having a unique name is good. I wish I had a unique name". You know the type.

Thank you for the giggles.

lol... see, i have a boring first name (emily) but everyone refers to, introduces me as and calls me by my last name

no one can spell it, pronounce it or even remember it, until they've heard/seen at least half a dozen times.

weird names are ten times cooler than anything else. We forget sarahs, fionnuala's stay in our memories.

besides, you could always move to ireland where they will pronounce it right :D :p

Yes, I feel bad for you :(

Good job on the rant, I loved it, and I feel your sorrow. My name isn't the best name to pronounce. "Is it Nayko?"
GOD do I hate those people. Before I go into an intire essay myself, ttyl.
