It made me sad because stories about best friends in love remind me of what happened between me and my best friend :( I was the Jordan to her Elliot so this rang really true to me. Not because of what happened to Elliot and Jordan, but because it felt real and I felt as if I could identify with Elliot, even though I've never been in his situation. It's a sad sorry, and in the end I level with you: I don't know who I feel more sorry for; Elliot, who had finally started to come to terms with he and Jordan's strictly friend relationship, or Jordan, who found out what a broken heart felt like. Plus he was more or less stood up on his wedding day. So, kudos for a great, I mean it, -great- short story. ~DiamondKing |
