This poem is just fantastic. I'm at a loss as to why it's reviewless, but sometimes the best pieces go unnoticed. (My best piece only has 2 reviews, while one I'm not very fond of at all has like 14. Crazy.) I really think you've captured the hopeless and desperate, frustrated feel of a teenager, a writer, a deaf man, all those things or maybe others, too, in this. The stream-of-consciousness feel of this really makes that frustration come through clearly, and your metaphor with the war crimes was fabulous. I really love this piece, and like I said, don't know why it hasn't been reviewed. I'm putting this on my favorites. The last stanza is enough to automatically be a favorite. Gorgeous. Keep writing! :)
