I did like the letter/dog part, that was different. I never even thought about it, but if I'm right, that was the first time we've seen the letters, I dont remember now haha.

Excellent writing! You've got a great concept here; I'm stuck for time so have only read the first few chapters but will certainly be back for more ASAP. I'm a lawyer too, so the character of "walking sin" attorney Cole is certainly capturing my interest! Good luck with the rest.
