I've never read flash fiction before, but I think you pulled it off well. It made the story unique and interesting. Though I must say the 'moment _' kind of annoyed me. Couldn't you just put a division line or something? But the words themselves, especially the dialogue, I loved without a doubt!

This is the first time I've read flash fiction. I thought this piece was very interesting and very sweet, and the dialogue was great. I think the last moment was my favourite though.

This was very well written. Usually, I don't read this sort of thing. But I've had a fasination with mermaids as of late, and have a couple of mermaid reloated original storys in the works. (One is on my profile)

I really enjoyed their little "conversations" and how you had everything stay the same, except for the responses.
