Great work! Definitly different from your other work, but I really like it. A little lacking at times, especially the "Fire/Pain/Fills the ragged flesh/Housing my soul". Those lines were a bit confusing. But this is a really great start to a new style. I was playing clarinet with a professional the other day, and his style was a bit different than that of my clarinet teacher. I think the most I got out of it was how he interrpreted the music in a way I never experinced before. It was very fulfilling - and I hope reaching out to different styles of poetry does the same for you. Beautiful job. Again, I loved the ending on this one too. Keep writing, k.
