abuseGuess I'm one inclined to wonder; go deep enough and things point back to the immediate. Speculation's useful if you remember it's speculation.

I like the rain as an example: keeps cycling through millions of years, billions of people. Also the music in the eigth line. That's one of those things you notice sometimes (rain as rhythm, inverted reflection in a spoon) -- they make you question predefined categories.

'reflects out' sounds awkward and I don't know what it's supposed to mean.

Its ambiguous whether she's alone, and if not, who says the last line, so it works on multiple levels. Nice.
