I enjoyed your style here, and the digressions into mundane topics he takes as the blade is poised over his wrist.

I find solace in writing, too.

I hate the whole "I'm so sorry" "I understand" sympathy bit.

I always found it useless, because you can never understand what another thinks or feels...

I feel your pain, although of course pertaining to a different, but similar, situation in life. The first time I drew blood... I didn't expect it to feel the way it did...
