Well, the main reason why I stopped by to check this story is coz I saw the sequel on "just in" and figured it'd be better to start from the beginning.
So far, while I understand this is a prologue, the length leaves much to wish for (even more so since in this short while I noticed a mistake or two and the flow of the story could be managed better).
But prologue alone isn't a story, so I'll see where this leads. The setting seems rather intriguing (maybe not too original, but few things are these days).

Either you write really fast or you've had this done beforehand. Anyway, I love it. Short and simple. That's not the end, is it? Your characters are great, the plot exciting, and the action is smooth. The dialogue flows well, your description is very balanaced, and, well, I really like it. Consider publishing. . . that you should.
