Death Lotus 2007-01-25 ch 1,	abuseThe concept is indeed Lovecraftian--his fascination with water and its inhabitants is a common theme, as well as childhood fears and suspicions revisited. But the story itself and the writing style is your own. Are you planning on continuing this? I'm interested to hear more about the history of the lake, as well as the dog and what could possibly have inflicted such a strange wound on him.
