Wow, nice. You write beautifully. I always think action is hardest to write since it happens so fast in your head and you have to prolong it just a little on paper. You pulled it off very well though. It reminded me a little of the beginning of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", just the general image of a woman running from evil things with a baby in her arms... This is definitely cooler though... I'll be waiting for an update!
