I love the surprising tying-together of different images - listening to breakfast, etc. Just that how even though they're so different, how these words have never been together this way, it flows together very nicely. Kind of like eggs mixing with honey toast, yeah? The intimacy of the narration being directed to this "you" is really awesome. Your wording is so beautiful as usual. :D
