| Aaron 2008-07-31 ch 1, | I doubt anyone truly understands how you feel about a person. And maybe some use "love" very casually, but no matter how old you are, does it feel any less true? I think parents are quick to dismiss some emotions because they're too far way from their own experiences. They try to protect and advise and guide, but sometimes forget that some things, some emotions we must deal with on our own. |
| Mettermi A Dormire 2007-01-12 ch 1, | I love it. It seems like the kind of thing that's complicated. In your mind it's so complicated and you can't describe it to your parents, but you know it's true. But they don't want to believe it. They think that if they believe it, it will happen. They don't know it's already happened. They only believe what they want to believe, so then they can believe that as you smile at them each day, you're okay. They think the smile says "Hi, mom" or "Hi, dad" but never "This is a cover-up. You're my PARENTS. Why can't you see through my fake smiles?" Anyway, it really spoke to me. |
