Not to sure 'bout the title though, "Unafraid of Death" doesn't seem to fit as well as the others do to the other stories. Know what I mean? ~thestinger

Rosamunde 2007-03-16 ch 25, anon.	abuseHi there Miss Shadow, first of all on the Edward and Ren issue, my sister is all for it but I’m not, for several reasons, I’ll only burden you with two: What does Nikeeta think of having a “mommy” barely older than her? Second: Isn’t Edward a man of conviction? I can see why he’s overcome his repugnancy of supernatural creatures were his cousin and nephew are concerned but it’s hard to see why he’ll do it for your Ren. Merc mentioned hormones as possible culprits but that sounds out of character. I loved the chapter with Lisen, a very intriguing character, someone that could have come out of Clive Barker’s mind (that’s a compliment btw).And I can't wait to read about Arra's wrath. Oh just something else, the “bloody tube” is called a cannula. With the risk of anaphylactic reactions involved, homologous transfusion is only used when severe blood loss occurs. Mind you she lost it coughing it so there must have been some sort of internal damage involved. Didn’t the doctors or at least the paramedics notice that whatever had caused severe blood lost didn’t show in the X rays? Aren’t they wondering how her body managed to recover so soon or for the matter why was her mind out for so long? If this is a standard transfusion it takes about four hours for one unit (around 500 ml) to be transfused, if she’s been out more than two days and still wakes up with a cannula and a package of blood (not plasma but blood, YIKES!) she’s probably had more than one. I’ll buy your Arra has not to worry about compatibility issues given her regenerative powers, and with workload in modern day hospitals I’ll buy no one noticed anything weird but then there’s also the issue of cross-matching, which I’m assuming was done since she’s not receiving an uncross-matched blood transfusion that would usually involve O negative blood and again because several transfusion made testing for other antigens far beyond the ABO and Rhesus antigens mandatory (you can get away with the AB comment since that’s a different test and she could knew it from the time she was human, though non-human blood type is a different game field I don’t know about wolves but over 13 blood groups and eight erythrocyte antigen types have being described for dogs). I just have one question, and evidently a too much time in my hands: Does your wolf immune system can pass through a 45 minute testing without being detected? I know she doesn’t seem to care if she is found out or not, especially after learning about Damon, but is she also willing to leave a positive prove in the form of whatever cruises her veins behind? Maybe you could use some sort of mob doctor instead of a hospital I bet Jean-Luc has one for his employees.

It'd be great to see his daughter (Sorry, I can't remember her name) have a Mommy. But this is Edward, the infamous hunter, whos very name makes lesser supernaturals cringe in fear. He hates werewolves, with the exception of Arra and Damon of course. It simply doesn't fit his personality. ~thestinger

Though I can't blame you I'm crazy about Eddie too smiles shrewdly. About the inc- thing you don't have to rub it in. Wonderful chapter and I think you just killed the blockage I had for drawing, now I think I can get the picture.
