mistyglow 2008-10-11 ch 26,	abuseMy first review on FictionPress! Yay! Anyways back to the review, WOW! Great story! I loved the whole story, the character development, and the drama. I decided not to read the original story, and I’m glad I made that decision. The only think I truly disliked was the extensive use of vulgarities. I understand their necessity in the case of Quentin, who is known for being lewd and raunchy. Other than that, I felt they were a bit too much, but I guess it depends on what you’re used to, right. Towards the end, however, when Adrian and company come up with the plan to bring down Alex, I thought, or I understood, that they were trying to make Adrian the new queen of the school with the purpose of ending Alex’s reign and tyranny and to teach him a lesson because he hurt Justin‘s feelings. Yet, as the plot progressed, it became about making Alex jealous and Bri upset. I also thought, Quentin was supposed to tell Alex, that the only reason he was being the ‘perfect boyfriend’ was just to get Adrian in bed, sort of like a conquest, thus making Alex worry about Adrian’s feelings. However, Quentin never told Alex his ‘plan,’ so that really confused me. Maybe I should go back and re-read it, just to make sure I read it correctly. LOL I know there’s a sequel starting Quentin, and I’m already reading it, and I know you wanna move on to other projects and other characters, but is there any chance, any chance whatsoever, that we might get a story with Grant. He’s like the mysterious character and I love to see a sequel with him. A college sequel, so we would get to see everyone else as well. Ok… now I know I’m dreaming. LOL Thank you for the entertainment! Now off to keep reading Quentin’s story! -MistyGlow-Betty

But why do girls actually crave that...right now I'm picturing Alex in my head, and I sadly find him soo irresistable...sigh. Anyway, love this story! I'll definitely read the rest after I have slept some...I've stayed up way too late reading this, haha. I haven't had a chance to read your old reason and romance version, but having skimmed it a little after seeing it mentioned in your author's notes, I like the chacter of Alex better in this version. I know he's much more of an **, but that's what makes him much more believeable. I'm also sadly hoping that he might have some sort of change of heart my the end, right? Even if he doesn't, this story is very addicting.

I love the fact that its not a happily, ever, after and there is still problems lingering with the parents, but you can see it beginning to work out. Gonna go check out the sequel now =)

Lils03 2008-09-30 ch 26,	abuseAlright. I know this story has been finished for a long time now, but I just have to write a review and tell you how fantastic it is!! The relationship between Alex and Adrian represents a week worth of me not doing homework and not sleeping or eating. It is a major milestone this month. The characters are so subtly complex and it took me several times over to even begin to work out their inner workings, as it were. Pure and simple brilliance. Thanks for writing (and finishing) this GREAT story!

Such and awkward yet sweet situation and i absolutely love it... Time to read the sequel and then the original! Keep writing! all your stories are awesome!
