nice. liked how in the last lines it shows how the person might be young but that doesn't always protect them from the pain in the world. sad but very truthfull. Good Poem.

Spooky! I love it, this is going to my favotites!

Wonderful. I've read far too many poems recently that ramble on further than they need to. This is said nicely and adequately. At first glance of the title, I was a little concerned, but the message is not demeaning at all. I think the title is a little misleading because though you describe a young person, it is not a mocking of age but a description of understanding of the "shoes" this young person will wear someday.

The language is astounding in this -- simple and comforting. Great job with capitilization in the sixth line. It is an effective technique I don't think fp authors realize as a great tool in writing. "You're too young, they say," Keep writing, k.
