The Postscript 2007-01-16 . chapter 1Wonderful. I've read far too many poems recently that ramble on further than they need to. This is said nicely and adequately. At first glance of the title, I was a little concerned, but the message is not demeaning at all. I think the title is a little misleading because though you describe a young person, it is not a mocking of age but a description of understanding of the "shoes" this young person will wear someday.
The language is astounding in this -- simple and comforting. Great job with capitilization in the sixth line. It is an effective technique I don't think fp authors realize as a great tool in writing. "You're too young, they say," Keep writing, k. |
