OK. I barely understood that...but I'm really really distracted right now...so maybe that's why...

I can't quite put my finger on it, but this is something of a departure from your more recent pieces. The lilting quality of your words are no doubt still there, and yet they are almost harried (but not in a bad way). Perhaps it is that it revolves around one whole subject as opposed to two, though I can see the romance- or rather the regret of one gone awry.

I like this because I can relate- not so much to the romance but the question of 'what if'. That nagging insecurity that makes you wonder if everything is as it should be, whether you did everything that could have been done but what if you tried just a little harder here and there. Are you missing out on something wonderful as a result.
